| Installation Is a Snap
Super-Panel is easy to handle and install and requires just one person for the job.
No special tools or equipment are necessary.

Score and Snap
Using an ordinary carbide-tipped utility knife and a straight edge, score through the panel on one side, then snap board at the score line. Cut mesh on the other side and snap back.

Cut-outs
Cut through the mesh on both sides. Knock out the piece with a hammer. Smooth edges with a rasp or file.

To Fasten
We strongly recommend you use corrosion-resistant cement board screws (available from Bed-Roc) to fasten panels to framing. Fasten screws every 6 to 8 along studs, leaving 1/8 to 3/16 gap at all joints. Perimeter fasteners should be located approximately 1/2 from edge.

Joint Treatment
On all wall joints and corners, fill gaps with mortar and finish with a 2 fiberglass tape over which a thin coat of mortar is then applied.
Bonding Materials
To fill joints and bond tile to Super-Panel, use a latex-modified, thin set mortar, using a notched trowel. We recommend that an acrylic additive be added to the mortar to achieve a stronger bond.
As Super-Panel is unaffected by water but not waterproof, we recommend that any area behind Super-Panel that must be kept totally free of moisture or water should be protected by an impermeable membrane.
